Work Summary
Hi Stranger,
🚀2024–Now: Product Designer at a Sports Community Startup
🇨🇳 Shanghai, China
As the sole product designer in an early-stage startup, I joined the team during the 0-to-1 phase, working closely with the PM, developers, and founder to shape the product from the ground up. My responsibilities covered a wide range of features, including UGC social feeds, image editing, workout data visualization, and gamified comparisons.
The biggest challenge here is that, due to the lack of a clear product roadmap, development followed an ad-hoc approach—building one feature at a time without a defined structure. Therefore, I had to ensure each new feature integrated seamlessly with the existing features.
One standout initiative was optimizing the Event Recap feature.
I found that the feature had low usage due to unclear entry points and lack of motivation to share. By integrating recaps into the social feed, I aligned with user behavior and reactivated the feature with minimal engineering effort.

🛍️ 2022-2024: UX/UI Designer at a D2C Health Brand
🇬🇧 London, UK
At this D2C wellness company, I worked across both B2C and B2B touchpoints. One of my core projects was building an Auto-Renewal flow from scratch—turning a manual subscription process into a streamlined, automated one. With limited direct access to users, I collaborated extensively with business analysts and customer service to understand pain points and ensure a seamless backend-to-UI experience.
Final Outcome:

Another major project involved a Dashboard Redesign for merchants. I led user interviews and usability studies to identify gaps in information architecture and usability. The redesigned layout re-prioritized modules, leading to more intuitive daily use and fewer drop-offs.

Other projects
A dashboard for restaurant managers or operators to facilitate their daily operations.

An onboarding experience design for a Football player transaction platform.
